Who treats anxiety disorders?

Anxiety disorders are treated by licensed mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and counselors. At Ogaei, board-certified psychiatrists can diagnose anxiety disorders and prescribe medication when appropriate, while licensed therapists provide counseling and therapy to help manage symptoms. Our team of experts works with you to create a personalized treatment plan for effective anxiety management from the comfort of your home.

To get anxiety medication online, start by scheduling a virtual appointment with a board-certified doctor or licensed psychiatrist through Ogaei. During your consultation, the provider will evaluate your symptoms, discuss your medical history, and determine if medication is appropriate. If prescribed, your medication will be sent to your preferred pharmacy for easy pickup or delivery. Ogaei ensures a safe, secure, and convenient process to help you manage your anxiety effectively.

Anxiety can be described by a group of disorders that includes nervousness, fear, or worry. While anxiety can be normal in stressful situations such as public speaking, it can turn into anxiety disorders which go beyond the normal feelings of being anxious or nervous. Common well-defined anxiety disorders include Social Anxiety Disorder (Social Phobia), Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Panic Disorder.

Anxiety not only affects your mental health, but also has an impact on your physical health. Symptoms of anxiety can include restlessness, irritability, uncontrollable feelings of worry, sleeping difficulties, rapid heart rate, panic attacks, nausea, social phobias, cardiovascular, immune and respiratory changes. Some symptoms are more persistent and fall into specific categories for anxiety and anxiety disorder.

Anxiety treatment can include exercise, a healthy diet, and relaxation techniques. However, some anxiety disorders require more specific treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or CBT combined with medications. Given the impact that anxiety can have on your mind and body, it’s important to consult a professional who can work with you to provide the best treatment.

Our providers practice CBT and are available seven days a week. Register with Ogaei to schedule an appointment.

It depends; you may have situational anxiety which may only require a few visits to determine some coping strategies or medications. However, you may experience symptoms that require long-term treatment. Your doctor or therapist will work with you to determine the best treatment.

Our psychologists and psychiatrists have an average 15 years of experience. They are clinical experts in a variety of different specialties, such as anxiety.

We make it easy for you to browse and learn about our providers so you can find the perfect match. Each of our providers will work with you to set a plan and help you achieve the goals most important to you. You may choose your own therapist but availability is dependent on your location (what state you live in).

You can be treated on an as-needed basis as symptoms arise, or you can be treated with a more preventive approach. In the latter case, your doctor may recommend daily medication to help avoid symptoms altogether.
